A multi-format ethnographic field collection of traditional fiddle tunes performed by Henry Reed of Glen Lyn, Virginia. Recorded by folklorist Alan Jabbour in 1966-67, when Reed was over eighty years old, the tunes represent the music and evoke the history and spirit of Virginia's Appalachian frontier.

Very nice! A coupla dozen (and growing) collection of folksongs, standard notation gifs, some midi play-along. Most are at least four parts (violin, viola, cello, and piano).
Good for beginners, offers MIDI files and "play-along" sheet music. Not all songs have sheet music -- however, you can save the MIDI files and print them out in sheet music notation with a number of different packages.
Paul Bradley trained as a violin-maker and repairer at The Newark School of Violin-Making, England, where he studied violin-making, cello-making and viola-making under Paul Bowers, Patrick Jowett, Bharat Kandekar and Paul Harrild. He also studied repair work extensively. Since he received his diploma from Newark he has been working full time in Galway (Ireland) as a maker and repairer.
